Get To Know Us

We are committed to creating professional, academic, and social opportunities for students of all disciplines who are interested in cultural policy and management, or who are curious about incorporating arts and culture into their respective fields of study

We, the Cultural Policy and Management Alliance (CPMA) are a student organization, founded in 2016, at Indiana University Bloomington's School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA).

We seek to:

1. Promote the interaction between arts, culture, policy and management while engaging all disciplines in the conversation.

2. Foster an interest in domestic and international cultural policy and management.

3. Provide students with networking and professional development opportunities through events with cultural policy and management faculty, researchers and practitioners.

4. Serve as a liaison between SPEA students, faculty, and staff.

5. Promote the inclusion of cultural policy and management within SPEA’s programming.
